Their Royal Highnesses, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, were the guests of honour at our gala dinner to celebrate the Danish Club’s 140th birthday on Friday, November 21, 2003. H.E.Ambassador, Tom Risdahl Jensen and Ms. Helle Bundgaard, also kindly agreed to join us.

The 120 members attending was greeting by music by 8 talented young string players. The players also entertained the guest over coffee.

After the dinner members were able to dance to the music from "Accent" until the early hours of the next day.

It was labelled as London’s Danish party of the year and the event at The Arts Club did not disappoint!  176 Danes and their companions packed into the Club at Dover Street, London, for an evening of live music from Musik Express,  Carlsberg beer, smørrebrød and hotdogs – and the intoxicating offerings of a tequila girl.
